Self Check-In: Backend setup

The main points regarding the backend setup for self check-in can be found in the Branding & Content section of the Booking Engine menu. To do this, open the Hotel Management module and navigate to the Branding&Content section under the Booking Engine menu.

The Self Check-In process utilizes the color scheme set on the Branding & Content page within the Branding section's first column. Additionally, the Logo used is the same for both the Booking Engine and Self Check-In.


How to generate a link


To generate a unique self check-in link, a user with administration rights must set the Self Check-In Domain in the hotel settings and the Booking Engine Title in the company settings. After these steps, the system will create a link available to all users in the Unique self check-in link section. Clicking the arrow icon will redirect you to the Self Check-In landing page.



How to add House Rules

An important step of the self check-in process is the guest’s review of the hotel’s house rules, which cover topics such as check-in and check-out times, smoking policy, and other guidelines. The system allows users to upload a PDF file in the backend setup so that these rules are displayed to the guest. To add this file, follow the steps below:

  1. Open Hotel Management module
  2. Click on the Booking Engine section
  3. Click on the Branding & Content option
  4. In the Content section, click on the +Add file button

It is allowed to upload a file with a .pdf extension, not exceeding 10 MB in size.

After the file has been uploaded, a preview option becomes available. If needed, the file can be replaced by clicking the Edit icon or deleted by clicking the Trash icon.

If the House Rules file is not uploaded, this step will be excluded from the self check-in process.
