Traces: Calendar View
The Calendar view provides a visual way to manage traces based on their due dates. It allows users to view all upcoming tasks distributed across days, weeks, or months, helping them plan their workload and monitor deadlines more effectively. This view is particularly useful for operational teams that require a clear overview of scheduled actions and follow-ups.
Calendar View Overview
To access the Traces module, go to the sidebar menu and expand the Traces section. Then click on the “Traces” item in the sub-menu. This will open the module in the Kanban view by default. In the right corner, switch from the Kanban to the Calendar option.

When opening Traces in the Calendar view, users are presented with a calendar of the current month displaying all relevant traces as colored bars on their respective due dates. Just like in Kanban and List views, the default filter My Department is applied to show only traces related to the user’s department.
On the left side, a navigation panel allows users to:
- Switch between monthly and yearly views
- Navigate between months or years
- Enable or hide weekends in the calendar display
- Use the Today button to quickly return to the current day in the calendar
The current date is always highlighted with a blue circle for quick reference.
On the right side, a mini calendar is available for easier date navigation. This element can be collapsed to save space if needed.

Trace Bar Overview
When clicking on a trace bar in the calendar, the system opens a quick view of the trace. This view displays key information, including the trace title, assignee, category, department, status, priority, and due date.
If you need to make changes, click the Edit button, and the full trace form will open in a pop-up window for editing.
The Delete button is only available to users with the Administrator access rights.

Trace Creation in the Calendar View
To create a new trace in the Calendar view, simply click on an empty space within the desired date. The system will open the trace form in a pop-up window, allowing you to enter the necessary details.
