VIP guests hold a special place in the hospitality industry, as they often represent loyal customers, high-value spenders, and key influencers for a hotel's reputation. In our system, marking a reservation or guest as VIP is straightforward and provides hotel staff with immediate visual cues. Reservations flagged as VIP are clearly indicated within the room plan and reservation details, ensuring that all departments—from front desk to housekeeping—are aware of the guest's special status. This enables tailored service, priority handling, and access to exclusive amenities.
VIP tag configuration
Our system allows you to mark a guest’s profile or a specific reservation as VIP. In the Contacts module, there is a VIP tag, and similarly, in the Hotel Management module, the VIP tag is available under Reservation tags. These tags cannot be deleted or archived, ensuring the VIP status is always clearly visible and maintained throughout the system.

How to mark a guest as VIP
To mark a guest profile as VIP, follow these steps:
- Open the Contacts module
- Open the Contacts list
- Find a specific contact in the list
- In the Guest Tags field, add the VIP tag and save changes

When creating a reservation for a guest marked as VIP, the reservation automatically receives the VIP reservation tag.
How to mark a reservation as VIP
To mark a reservation as VIP, follow these steps:
- Open the Hotel Management
- Go to the Room Plan via the Frontdesk menu
- Find an existing reservation in the Room Plan
- Click on it to open the reservation pop-up
- Mark a reservation with a star icon (VIP)

When the star icon is enabled on the room plan, the system automatically adds the VIP reservation tag to the reservation form. However, marking a reservation as VIP does not mark the guest profile as VIP.
It is also possible to mark a reservation as VIP directly through the reservation mask. To do this, you need to:
- Find the required reservation in the system
- Open the Additional Details tab
- Add the VIP tag in the Reservation Tags field
- Save the changes.
After that, when you open the Room Plan, this reservation will be marked with a VIP star icon.
